"My Choices" is about:-
a) pre-planning as part of a Pre-Death Funeral or for your own funeral and / or eulogy; or
b) capturing personal memories and recording them, either as a personal history exercise, to write as a biography or to share at a significant milestone.
I provide various resources which includes things like the "My Choices" booklet I have prepared- a free booklet available to leave instructions for the content of your funeral, such as music choices, readings or poems, style of service, where you want it conducted. It is available in pdf or MS Publisher formats.
Eulogies come in many styles, but the most common is a biographical story. So often it is a list of dates, names and places - birth, school, marriage, jobs, children, addresses, hospitals and place of death, but there is so much more than that to a person's life.
Capturing Personal Memories
By writing down or audio-recording memories, a lasting legacy can be passed along of proudest achievements, funniest moments, favourite foods, colours, flowers, songs, first dates, first kisses, most-loved cars or holidays, all the minutiae of what makes up the richness of human existence. It is never too early to start recording the details of favourite school subjects, earliest memories, best friends at kindergarten etc.
"MemoryGrabber is a marvelous 248-page eBook, which I have purchased and can bring along to do a presentation / workshop for you, your family or community group.
I have the author's copyright permission to use the book and distribute pages from it, or it can be purchased online for $14.95 at http://www.familyhistoryproducts.com/mg2008.html

Personal Histories to Mark Milestones
My mother was surprised with a photographic and personal history put together as a 70th birthday present, and loved the tributes her friends included in it. Some of her early memories were included from pages she had recorded from MemoryGrabber.
The final book was A3-size with 100 pages and a photo cover. It was made using software from, and printed by, My Reflections Photobooks, an award-winning Western Australian company,
which is now part of Albumworks.
